The Hurston 2020 Family Committee was established!

School education without family education, or family education without school education, can not accomplish the difficult and complicated task of training people. This is the original intention of setting up the Parents Committee.

The parent committee is an important link between the kindergarten and the students parents. It is a channel to broaden the communication of home information, and integrate the educational resources of the kindergarten to form a strong educational synergy.

We held the first family committee meeting of the 2020 school year with great excitement. It was also the first meeting between members of our new family committee!

Our new team is composed of 11 parents. We come from different classes and do different jobs, but we all have a common wish that is to bring the students and parents of Hurston closer to the teachers of Hurston. To open and create a brighter future!

Parents have introduced themselves in a polite manner, we know you, and you know us..

This is who we are, a young, forward looking, positive and responsible team. We love children, but not only our own children. We love and have a global perspective, with great social resources, and also diverse interests. We have advanced educational ideas, with a sincere heart to serve everyone.

The principal of the kindergarten issued a letter to the family committee, and the parents held the letter at the same time so they could also accept trust and the responsibility. This letter of appointment is a great responsibility for parents to be role models, and a bridge for communication between the parents and teachers.

At the meeting, the principal of the kindergarten introduced the parent representatives of the family committee as well as the focus of the work of the kindergarten this semester. The principal also introduced the school’s teacher team building, IB curriculum and implementation, nutritional meals, and various activities to the parents. To keep the parents reassured. For the all round development of children, we will never stop on the road of excellence.

Recognition of ideas and coordination of behaviors are the core of the Hurston Kindergarten team, as well as our constant pursuit. We look forward to our new team to continue to keep cooperation and efficient interaction, and to educate all. To also protect every healthy student to assure a happy childhood.
